Mr. Freek Jan Frerichs, the Counselor for Innovation, Science and Technology of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in China (fifth from left), and , Founder and CEO of SpinQ (fourth from left).
Mr. Frerichs and his entourage firstly visited SpinQ’s showroom where they learned about SpinQ’s Gemini-the world’s first desktop quantum computer, Gemini Mini-the first portable quantum computer, SpinQ’s superconducting quantum computer and SpinQ’s business coverage in quantum computing. Mr. Frerichs and his entourage praised SpinQ’s continuous iterative innovation of quantum computing products and its vision to achieve the industrialization and popularization of quantum computing.
Counsellor of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in China and His Entourage learned about SpinQ's desktop quantum computing products.
The two parties held a meeting at SpinQ’s meeting room. During the discussion, Mr. Xiang gave a warm welcome to the delegation from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in China.
Mr. Zou introduced the industry development of quantum computing and pointed out that quantum computing would become the basic technology of a new round of technological and industrial revolution as Moore’s Law is approaching its limit. The emergence of quantum computers can make up for the shortcomings of classical computers and provide faster and stronger computing power. He then provided a detailed introduction to the development of the whole quantum computing industry, followed by SpinQ’s development, products, and business lines.
Counsellor of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in China and His Entourage visited SpinQ's superconducting quantum computing products.
Mr. Zou stated that as the number of qubits, qubit fidelity, and coherence time of quantum computers continue to improve, the performance of quantum computers is comprehensively enhanced, and the industrialization progress of quantum computing is accelerating.
Per Mr. Xiang, Shenzhen is the core city in southern China and a city of technological innovation. Innovation-driven development is the leading strategy for Shenzhen’s development. With loose policies and an open atmosphere, Shenzhen has attracted a large number of science and technology talents. As a company developing in the quantum computing industry, talent is the key to SpinQ’s development. Therefore, SpinQ made up the decision to establish itself in Shenzhen and connect itself to the globe.
He further stated that as a global enterprise, SpinQ pays much attention to the overseas market. In fact, SpinQ's desktop NMR quantum computers have been sold to customers on all five continents, and has been recognized by many customers, such as the University of Western Australia and Oslo Metropolitan University. In the future, SpinQ will continue to deepen its presence in overseas markets and provide better products and services to its customers.
Mr. Frerichs spoke highly of the innovative development of Shenzhen City. As a city of technological innovation, Shenzhen has attracted a large number of start-up companies and is full of vitality. He stated that the Netherlands is laying much emphasize in new technological fields and is looking forward to working with China to promote technological innovation and development.
